Because it’s time to put our startup and small businesses first!

  • Small businesses account for 99.9% of all U.S. businesses and employ nearly half of the private workforce.

  • Revolving Loan Funds (RLFs) offer critical support by providing flexible funding for small businesses, typically in rural areas. These funds help businesses cover essential needs such as equipment purchases, facility improvements, and even debt refinancing.

  • Startup Grants significantly impact community development by enabling businesses to address startup expenses without taking on debt.

For every $1 invested in a startup or growing business, the local economy sees a return of $4 to $6.

Small businesses are the primary job creators and contribute significantly to local wealth and development.

For every $100 spent at local businesses, $48 is recirculated back into the local economy.

In contrast, national retailers only return $14 of that money!

This shows how critical small businesses are for sustained economic growth within a community.

Stability to the local job market.

During economic downturns, small businesses are 2.5 times more likely to retain jobs, providing stability to local economies.
